15 Minute Collaboration Session (15 min)

Prior to services being rendered, a 15 minute collaboration session must take place with the parent and scholar. During this time, the client(s) will express areas of concerns, share past attempts towards success, and confirm whether or not they are eligible for services.  Scholars must identify the school in which they attend, and parent/guardian must confirm their willingness to be an ongoing active participant throughout the process.

One-on-One Session (30 min-45 min)

During a one-on-one session, scholars will be granted the opportunity to attend to specific instructional deficits and/or address areas of concern. The assigned tutor will get to learn their scholars (i.e., who they are as a person, their interests, families and events going on in their lives), and use this information to best serve the identified need.

Each session will last for at least 30 minutes and are NOT to exceed 45 minutes.  A quality assurance follow-up call will be provided within 24 hours of each session, wherein guardians and scholars will be asked to rate their experience.

Group Session (Orchestrated by Tutor)

During group sessions scholars are given the potential to share a variety of views and information. Our group sessions are tailored to demonstrate cooperative attitudes and work skills that will be fostered and encouraged by the assigned tutor. The ultimate goal of a group session is to establish positive interdependence, individual accountability, and shared leadership all while working to achieve a common goal.

Progress Monitoring (Monthly)

Each month academic performances will be assessed to quantify the scholar’s rate of responsiveness to instruction, and to evaluate the effectiveness of tutoring. For those receiving SEL services, a behavior rating scale will be used to gauge the value of the delivery and application of social-emotional learning supports. Aggregate data will be analyzed and shared with all parties. The decision to proceed with established services will be contingent upon individual growth and student participation.
